Northeastern University NuLawLab | Stable Ground Program Evaluations
We worked collaboratively with the lawyers and artists at the NuLawLab, the innovation lab at Northeastern University School of Law, to document and showcase the impacts of Stable Ground. This coalition-based program addresses the complex relationship between chronic housing insecurity, its psychologically traumatic impact, and municipal housing policy through participatory community-based art and culture programming. It is structured to inform the work of housing advocates, housing court, municipal housing offices, and more. Projects documented have included ‘…First in Thought, Then in Action”, a partnership between the Institute of Contemporary art, artist Anthony Romero, and community-based organizations in East Boston; Stable Ground round one, and Stable Ground round two. Danya presented her findings at the 2019 Boston Area Research Initiative conference, which you can read more about here.
