Seattle Housing Authority | Arts at Yesler Terrace Program Evaluation
We designed an outcomes-based evaluation and then co-authored a final report with Jen Song, who manages public art works, community art programs, and artist residencies at Seattle’s famed housing development Yesler Terrace over four years. The report describes the unique experiences residents shared while participating in art-making and arts programs during a large-scale, high-profile public housing redevelopment. Insights gleaned from this research can help guide future programming and redevelopment efforts at SHA and other housing entities, as well as provide important lessons for housing and creative placemaking practitioners around the country.
